FOUR ESSENTIAL THINGS GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW

I. You Must First Understand That God Deals With You Based Upon
What You Are - Not What You Do. (Not your behavior but your condition
before God!)
• All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
• All our righteousness are like filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6
• There is none righteous, no not one. Romans 3:10

II. You Must Secondly Understand How God Has Chosen To
Show His Love For Us. (Not good works, this love is ONLY found in Christ.)
• God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
• God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
• It is God's will that none should perish. II Peter 3:9

III. You Must Thirdly Understand You Have To Make The Choice!
• Choice #1 - For the wages of sin is death.
• Choice #2 - but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord. Romans 6:23

IV. Fourth, You Must Accept The Gift Of God, Which Is Found In The
Person Of Jesus Christ.
• If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your
heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For
with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

Pray this prayer from your heart:

Dear God, I know that Jesus is your Son, He died on the cross and You
raised Him from the dead for me. Because I am a sinner in need of
forgiveness, I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart, forgive me of my
sins and save me. I am willing to change the direction of my life in
acknowledging Jesus as my Lord and Savior, by turning away from my sin
and looking to Him for everything. Thank you for giving me forgiveness,
eternal life, and hope for the future. Now help me to live the rest of my
life for you. In Jesus name, Amen.
